Of the three sons Naïma raised alone, only one remains. The oldest left for France, the second drowned trying to join him. So when Hossein, the youngest, says he too wants to follow the same path, she refuses, taking him south, away from Tangiers' hypnotic proximity to Europe. Confined by his own identity, his head brimming with the hopes of a young man drawn by the chimeric calls of a hyper-connected world, Hossein resists. But when cultural taboos cut short his first passions, he desperately seeks a way out in a place where only desires and dreams can break free.
